Grab a book of yours that you're willing to share with others. It can be one you've loved, or one you never really want to read again. Got a second copy of the same book for your birthday? BookCross it! Does a favorite aunt keep sending you books that she likes but you don't? BookCross them! Just follow the three R's of BookCrossing: Read, Register and Release
Here’s how it works.
· Log onto http://www.bookcrossing.com/ and register.
· Order the label kit or print them for free.
· Select some of your books that you want to release into the wild to share with others.
· Attach a bookcrossing.com label on the inside cover.

· Register your book and get a BCID number and write it on your label.
· NOW THE FUN PART - leave your book somewhere random for people to find. A park bench, at the bus stop, on an airplane, the restroom at a restaurant, you get the idea. And it doesn’t have to be left in the United States either.
· If someone finds your book and finds the label, they can then logon to the website and see who originally released the book, see where the book has traveled and post their location and review of the book if they want to. You will be able to track your book as it takes it's journey across the globe.
If you really want an adventure - GO BOOK HUNTING. Go to the website and see recent postings of where people have left books. If you are lucky, you will find one. Remember, the catch and release method is the most fun.
Now, how cool is that? I wish that I would have thought of it. I can not wait to do this with my niece and nephew!
